International Women’s Day Event

An evening of Women’s empowerment with sparkling speakers and stimulating discussion. Refreshments, Information, Stalls

Community Mural activity 5.30-6PM : Talks start at 6PM

Come early and join artist Sonjiart at 5:30pm to make a Community Mural project on the theme of   Intergenerational stories of Women and girls:  ‘Bringing friendship, energy, and history together’

The main event starts at 6pm, Councillors Debbie Kennard, Joss Loader and Lavinia O’Connor will chair speakers and discussions exploring experiences of being female in the 21st century, modern day challenges for women’s equality and developing intergenerational links between women and girls. Speakers and panellists are being confirmed. 

Finale featuring Phati Mnguni - Artist and motivational speaker on Women’s Empowerment with audience participation!

There will be information and activity stalls, refreshments and networking throughout the evening.

Our event will be followed by an evening of comedy and celebration in the main hall at The Shoreham Centre, BN43 5WU.

Just come along, everyone welcome, all ages
