Dr Geoffrey Mead is a passionate man with a fantastic local knowledge of the surrounding downland geography.
The Sussex Landscape has evolved over millions of years through natural processes of tectonic movements, periglacial activity and the constant weathering of rain, wind and sun, river and wave action.
We will look at the wide variety of Sussex landscapes, their continuity and changes. Geoffrey is Lecturer in geography at Sussex University.
