launch their new album ‘Restoration Tragedy’

A fitting location for Southwick poet and multi-instrumentalist Attila to launch his new album with his brand new band. The story of Charles II’s escape to France from Shoreham in 1651 is well known round here – but it is told for the first time from the point of view of the Levellers and radicals who wanted to catch him and end the monarchy once and for all! And the songs fit the period – early music meets acoustic punk played on crumhorn, cornamuse, strings and recorders, guitar, bass and drums. Preceded by a set of Attila’s fi ery and thoroughly modern poetry.
